About the personMag. Gertrud Deutsch-Stix has over thirty years of experience as a psychoanalyst, training therapist, and clinical and health psychologist. She is a member of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA) and the European Association of Transcultural Group Analysis (EATGA). She has worked for over a decade in the field of psychotherapeutic ethics and complaints. From 2016 to 2021, she chaired the Professional Ethics Committee of the Austrian Federal Association for Psychotherapy (ÖBVP), where she convened regular meetings with representatives of ethics and complaints committees from across the Austrian federal states. She has conducted advanced professional training and authored articles on ethical issues in psychotherapeutic practice.
She is also engaged in examining the relationship between psychoanalysis and society, with a particular interest in parents support and education. Her clinical work addresses a broad range of issues and is informed by the theories of Sigmund Freud, Donald Winnicott, and Jean Laplanche. She practices in Vienna, Austria. Über die PersonMag.a Gertrud Deutsch-Stix verfügt über mehr als dreißig Jahre Erfahrung als Psychoanalytikerin, Lehrtherapeutin sowie als Klinische- und Gesundheitspsychologin. Sie ist Mitglied der International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA) und der European Association of Transcultural Group Analysis (EATGA). Über ein Jahrzehnt war sie im Bereich psychotherapeutischer Ethik und Beschwerdewesen tätig. Von 2016 bis 2021 leitete sie das Berufsethische Gremium des Österrreichischen Bundesverbandes für Psychotherapie (ÖBVP), in dessen Rahmen sie regelmäßig Sitzungen mit Vertreter*innen der Ethik- und Beschwerdeausschüsse aller österreichischen Bundesländer organisierte.
Sie hält Fortbildungen ab und hat mehrere Fachartikel zu ethischen Fragestellungen in der psychotherapeutischen Praxis verfasst. Darüber hinaus beschäftigt sie sich mit dem Verhältnis von Psychoanalyse und Gesellschaft, insbesondere mit Fragen der Elternbildung und Elternbegleitung.Ihre klinische Arbeit umfasst ein breites Spektrum an Themen und orientiert sich an den Theorien von Sigmund Freud, Donald Winnicott und Jean Laplanche.
