About the personMag. Iris Staffler is a clinical and health psychologist, Validation teacher, and PhD candidate at the University of Innsbruck. Her doctoral research accompanies a peer support project led by the Tyrolean Association for Psychosocial Inclusion in collaboration with MCI. With extensive experience in geriatric and psychosocial care, she advocates for the inclusion of vulnerable groups. She teaches in professional training programs and engages in policy advocacy to strengthen the voices of people with lived experience. Her work aims to bridge professional and experiential perspectives and contribute to more inclusive mental health support systems.

Mag. Iris Staffler ist klinische und Gesundheitspsychologin, Validationslehrerin und promoviert derzeit an der Universität Innsbruck. Ihre Dissertation begleitet ein Peer-Begleitprojekt des Tiroler Interessensverbands für psychosoziale Inklusion in Kooperation mit dem MCI | Die Unternehmerische Hochschule®. Nach langjähriger Praxis im psychosozialen Bereich – insbesondere in der Geriatrie – engagiert sie sich für die Inklusion vulnerabler Gruppen. In Aus- und Weiterbildungen wirkt sie als Referentin, auf politischer Ebene setzt sie sich für mehr Sichtbarkeit und Mitbestimmung Psychiatrie-Erfahrener ein. Ihr Ziel: professionelle und betroffenenorientierte Perspektiven zu verbinden und zu einem inklusiven Versorgungssystem beizutragen.
