About the person:Kristina Gilmer was born in 1969 in Salzburg and completed her secondary education in Vienna in 1992. After studying Journalism and Communication as well as Italian Studies at the University of Vienna, she began her training as a psychotherapist. Since 2021, she has been registered as a systemic therapist on the official list of psychotherapists. In addition to her specialization in psychotherapy, she also completed training in equine-assisted therapy.
Kristina Gilmer works in private practice as a psychotherapist in Vienna and in Maria Enzersdorf/Mödling, and she also offers equine-assisted therapy in Maria Lanzendorf, just south of Vienna. For several years, she has been actively involved with the Institute for Equine-Assisted Communication. In her equine-assisted psychotherapeutic work, she is energetically supported by her therapy horse, Oscar.

Nach dem Studium der Publizistik und Kommunikationswissenschaft sowie der Italianistik an der Universität Wien hat sie ihre Ausbildung zur Psychotherapeutin begonnen. Seit 2021 ist sie als systemische Therapeutin in der Psychotherapeutenliste eingetragen. Neben der psychotherapeutischen Fachausbildung hat sie auch die Ausbildung zur Reittherapeutin absolviert.
Kristina Gilmer arbeitet als Psychotherapeutin in freier Praxis in Wien und in Maria Enzersdorf/Mödling sowie pferdegestützt in Maria Lanzendorf, südlich von Wien. Seit einigen Jahren wirkt sie beim Institut für pferdegestützte Kommunikation mit. Bei der pferdegestützten psychotherapeutischen Arbeit wird sie von ihrem Therapiepferd Oscar tatkräftig unterstützt.
