Manuel Jakab is a theoretical sociologist and psychotherapy scholar currently associated with the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science, Sigmund Freud Private University. He has worked on structuring recent findings in the fields of voluntary simplicity and anti-consumption along the main paradigms of sociology. Currently, he is mainly engaged in connecting topical research on the conspiracy mindset with process-related dimensions in psychotherapy science, weighing the diverging viewpoints of the different paradigmatic orientations. Jakab also teaches communication theory at the University for Applied Sciences Vienna (FHWien) and serves as an academic expert assigned to the National Defense Academy in the armed forces ready reserve.
