About the personValquiria Gonçalves de Oliveira is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with over four decades of experience in the field. She completed her psychology degree at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP) in 1980 and specialized in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis in both Brazil (SOBRAL, 1997) and Austria (Abile-Institut, 2008). Her further training includes EMDR Psychotraumatology in Italy (2017) and Austria (2021), as well as advanced methods such as Direct Access to the Unconscious (ADI) and Therapy for the Integration of the Person (TIP), completed in Belo Horizonte in 1996 and 2023.
She also holds a diploma in International Social and Religious Studies (Italy and Switzerland, 1981–1983) and a master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Universidade Aberta de Portugal. Her clinical work focuses on existential crises, depressive disorders, war-related trauma, loss, decision-making processes, and the ethical-spiritual dimensions of psychotherapy.
Valquiria teaches Humanistic Integral Psychology at TIP Clínica (https://tipclinica.com.br/), in partnership with the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Minas Gerais, Brazil. She serves on the Scientific Committee of the Lectio Magistralis Internationalis at the University of Silesia in Poland. Her areas of expertise include existential analysis, life history, psychotherapeutic intervention, psychotraumatology, and spirituality. She is also active as an editor and curator, contributing to the revision and translation of Le Chiavi dell’Inconscio and the 32nd Portuguese edition of As Chaves do Inconsciente by Renate Jost de Moraes.
