Yan Gong holds a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University, USA. In 2010, he founded the HE YI (Unity) Therapy approach and, in 2011, invented a psychotherapeutic tool known as the Psychological Compass. He has obtained over 40 intellectual property rights related to this work and has established comprehensive systems for training, supervision, and certification. His professional focus has long been dedicated to the teaching and practical application of psychological counseling and therapy.
He currently serves as Vice President of the Psychological Supervision Committee of the China Association of Wisdom Engineering, Member of the Clinical Psychology Committee of the Chinese Neurological Medicine Association, President of the China Academy of HE YI Culture, Chief Supervisor of the International Institute for Psychological Compass Technology, and Board Member of the International Chinese Association of Applied Psychology.

Sein beruflicher Fokus liegt seit Langem auf der Lehre und praktischen Anwendung von psychologischer Beratung und Therapie.
Derzeit ist er Vizepräsident des Komitees für Psychologische Supervision der China Association of Wisdom Engineering, Mitglied des Komitees für Klinische Psychologie der Chinesischen Gesellschaft für Neurologische Medizin, Präsident der China Academy of HE YI Culture, Haupt-Supervisor des International Institute for Psychological Compass Technology sowie Vorstandsmitglied der International Chinese Association of Applied Psychology.
