Dr. Ying Qian is a Medical Doctor, Chief Physician/Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor at Peking University Sixth Hospital’s Clinical Psychology Center, where she serves as Office Director. Active in professional associations, she holds roles such as Secretary-General of the Marriage and Family Psychology Committee and Deputy Leader in developmental behavior research.
She is committed to advancing approaches in child and adolescent mental health through interdisciplinary research and clinical practice. Her research focuses on ADHD, systemic therapy, and transdiagnostic approaches. She directs national projects, including National Natural Science Foundation initiatives, and has authored over 20 papers (10+ SCI-indexed) and a national patent. Sie engagiert sich aktiv in Fachgesellschaften, unter anderem als Generalsekretärin des Komitees für Ehe- und Familienpsychologie sowie als stellvertretende Leiterin im Bereich der entwicklungsbezogenen Verhaltensforschung.
Ihr besonderes Engagement gilt der Weiterentwicklung interdisziplinärer Ansätze in der Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie durch Forschung und klinische Praxis.
